Hello - your migration guide for moving to Server 2019 Standard from SBS 2008 went very well and was an enjoyable challenge!
Following that up, I'm wondering what I have to do with the second instance of SBS 2008 that I installed all those years ago. We have used it to run an instance of SQL server but that will also be making the move to 2019. We do however have a banking software application that runs on that second instance of 2008 that will be a little costly to move and I was wondering if we can just let it continue to run joined to the new domain, or will it start to shut down after some period of time?
I am not sure what that 2008 member server will do when the SBS 2008 is gone. Hopefully is does not shutdown. I don't think that will happen.
