Configure Exchange 2016 with Powershell

Hi

https://server-essentials.com/support/install-exchange-server-2016-in-existing-windows-server-essentials-2016-network

Section 6 says..

' Create a folder named ‘certificates’ in the root of the system drive and copy the certificate there you will use for Exchange '

and the snippet in step 4 mentions a certificate mail.domain….pfx.

I cant see the steps how this was created?

Thanks

I see here

https://server-essentials.com/support/migrate-sbs2011-exchange-server-2010-to-exchange-server-2016

Section 6, you mention about letsencrypt ( now certify the web ).

Would I add mail.domain.com in addition here  https://server-essentials.com/support/get-a-free-lets-encrypt-certificate-anywhere-and-automatically-renew-it

with all the settings the same  or create another separate certificate and if so what additional settings are required?

Thanks again.

HaHa.. so sorry... another one..

https://server-essentials.com/support/install-exchange-server-2016-in-existing-windows-server-essentials-2016-network

ARRConfig config -cert "C:\certificates\multidomain.server-essentials.com.pfx" -hostnames "mail.server-essentials.net" -targetserver exch2016.contoso.local

Where / how is the ' multidomain.domain.pfx ' generated ?

Mariette Knap

I exported the certificate to multidomain.domain.pfx, it was given this name by me
