I have a SBS 2011 server with a WSUS folder that has grown to 127GB. I would like to either remove or disable WSUS and remove the database and update files.
Once I accomplish the above, I will change the default Group Policy to no longer have stations get their updates from WSUS.
What are my options for accomplishing this without breaking anything? I have read that simply uninstalling WSUS breaks the SBS Console.
WSUS was a very poorly implemented product in SBS. Thou a great idea, the lack of database management tools in SBS is a constant battle for everyone.
We have used this article a few times to remove huge WSUS databases like yours.
