I have apparently installed Exchange 2016 on the host Hyper-v server and not the intended virtual machine! Not sure how that happened. Do I have to uninstall Exchange? If yes, how do I do that?
Gary,
That is not good. Did you do anything else than installing Exchange? No migration steps I hope? If you just have installed Exchange you can also uninstall it from add/remove programs or apps. Otherwise, open a ticket here https://server-essentials.com/support/premier-support and I will help you
I ran Get-MailboxDatabase; Stop-Transcript did not create a Move-Mailbox.txt file.
Uninstall gives error: This mailbox contains one or more mailboxes ....
The suggested Get-MailboxPlan on works in the cloud-based services.
I suggest we schedule a Teamviewer session to solve this.
OK. Anytime after 8:30 EDT.
Thanks.
I have emailed you a Microsoft Teams meeting request for a meeting at 0830 EDT

We uninstalled Exchange Server 2016 from the Hyper-V host because Gary installed it by mistake. After this we installed Exchange Server 2016 on a VM that is a member server in the domain.
