Network adapters on servers switching to "Private" from "Domain" after reboot.

I recently completed an SBS 2011 Standard to Server 2019 Hyper-V/Exchange 365 migration using the SBS Essentials guide. All went well with no problems except  that after a reboot of the Hyper-V host network adapters on  the Hyper-V host and guest servers is switching to "Private" from "Domain". This causes login problems to the file/print and application guest servers.

Hyper-V setup is:

IT-HYV      Hyper-V Host

IT-AD      ASD domain controller

IT-Landtech       application server

IT- Poweredge1500   file/print server

All servers are joined to the domain. DNS is setup according to the SBS Essentials guide.

Time synchronization is off for the IT-AD domain controller in Hyper-V settings.  IT-ADM is set to sync time to the Internet. All computers and serves on the domain are synced to the IT-AD domain controller for time. IT-AD is set in Hyper-V integration services to automatically start after a reboot of the Hyper-V host (IT-HYV). Other servers are set to start automatically if they were running when IT-HYV host was rebooted.

No applications on the IT-HYV  Hyper-V host except Hyper-V and Backup Assist.

Restarting the NLA (Network Location Awareness) service on each server resets the servers network adapters to "Domain" from "Private"  and temporarily fixes the problem until the next reboot. This has happened twice in the last 2 weeks. Each of these incidents was after the IT-HYV host rebooted after Windows updates.

I have used this same general configuration based the SBS Essentials guides several times over the last few years without experiencing this problem although most of them sere Server 2016. I have an almost identical setup running since last year without incident except that setup has a physical domain controller PDC and a secondary Hyper-V guest domain controller.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Mariette. I was beginning to think about NLA related fixes.

By the way your SBS2011 Standard to Server 2019/365 guide was great. Worth every penny that it cost. Save me vast amounts of time on the migration : )
