When I go into a user and onto the Computer Access tab, there is a computer missing.
I've had all kinds of troubles with this computer. It's been on the system before, but it was decommisioned and the recommissioned. I eventually uninstalled the connect software, disjoined the domain, deleted the ProgramData\Windows Server Essentials folder, deleted the Windows Server Essentials scheduled tasks, re-joined the domain, and reinstalled the software. I installed it with domain admin credentials, and I selected the option that I and others would be using this machine.
Now the machine shows up in the Devices tab, which is progress. But when I go into a user and go to the Computer Access tab, the computer isn't listed there. I confirmed the computer is listed in the same OU as the other computers that are listed in that tab. I'm not sure what else would be preventing it from showing up there. Any ideas? The system is running Windows Server 2016 and Essentials v 10.0.14393.4046
What OS has the client? Did you make any changes to the server regarding TLS settings? Can you check the actual Computer account in ADUC and see what security groups it is a member of? Compare that with a working Computer account and make changes accordingly.
The client is Windows 10. I did not make any TLS changes on the server, and the other dozen workstations are still working with RWA just fine. The computer security groups is a good idea, I hadn't thought of that. I did see one group that the other computers were a part of that this one isn't and I added it. I've closed and re-launched the Essentials dashboard, and I restarted the eight Windows Server Essentials services but I don't see the new computer there yet.
Here is a screenshot, if it helps. (I have filtered the Computer Access tab for the computer in question, but it doesn't show either when I browse the whole list). I find it strange that all the computers are listed as offline except the server, even though they're online and RWA is working. Also, the new computer (the highlighted one) is showing up with a different icon type. I don't know if that's because I installed it with administrative credentials or not...
