I'm at the point of transferring the roles from the SBS 2011 to WS2019, there are no existing issues with time and everything is in sync.
Will I need to configure the time service to be the master on WS2019 after the role transfer? I have read some other posts that suggest having to do this however it isn't part of the migration guide?
Thanks
Ian
Yes, good point. Normally you would have a Group Policy in place that takes care of this. I will have a small tutorial for you ready on Monday.
Hi, that would be brilliant, thank you.

Ian, look here Recommendation to Configure the Root PDC with an Authoritative Time Source and Avoid Widespread Time Skew
Brilliant, policy created and applied so I can complete the role transfer this evening!
Thank you
Your browser doesn't have Flash, Silverlight or HTML5 support.
An extra note to those who have the DC virtuzalized. You must disable time synchonization in VM settings. You can also do that from Windows Admin Center.
