Hi,
since updating the server from SBS2008 to exchange 2013 the clients do not connect anymore, although I already updated to outlook 2013 and tried to create a new profile, even by manual configuration.
When accessing OWA I see that the mailboxes work and receive mails. Error messages state:
can you please hint me to what I need to do to find out the details for this?
migration went through fine in my eyes, so this is not clear to me.

Hi, here is the DNS-Settings of Public DNS - I now added entries as I understood the tutorial, please correct if I am wrong.
I will test tomorrow what happens after DNS-Updates this night.
That looks good. Remember to remove the stuff we created in local DNS and add a zone for remote.rechtsanwalt-spatzl.de with an empty host A record that has the IP address of the new Exchange server. You also need to get a proper certificate that also contains the root domain name. Possibly you want to use Let's Encrypt for this. See Get a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for Access Anywhere and automatically renew it for ideas
today the clients connected fine, just when starting outlook or sending out e-mail the credentials are still requested.
In addition, I cannot access the public folders but get this message that seems if system still tries to acces the SBS:
Furthermore, sent mails should automatically be delivered to a e-mail-enabled PF, but this is now rejected by the mailsystem like the message below.
Anyhow, sending and receiving Mails is working fine, just you have to cancel the dialog asking to provide credentials (even if I do it does reappear, but it seems nothing wrong happens if I do cancel).
Is now already the point to uninstall Exchange 2007 or still other fixing needed?
Christian,
All issues should be resolved after uninstalling Exchange 2007 from the SBS and adding the email addresses to that one public folder.
Make sure you have all DNS records in place. What I see in your screenshot is not good.
Proper DNS settings and uninstalling the old Exchange Server 2007 fixed most of the issues Christian had.
