Now I'm really scared...
Migration batch is done, all mailboxes indicate Synced, but I've been checking a few boxes (especially those with very few items synced) and one box as an example :
mereenfants@rfoi.org
- Indicates Synced with 0 items synced (picture 1)
- Did not create the email like the others in 365 (picture 2)
- But if I look at the mail box it has a lot of emails in it (picture 3)
Another one just over it... mereenfantsalternatelle2@rfoi.org... indicates 17kb of data migrated... but my Synology Active backup for Microsoft 365 has the backup of the mailbox @ 1.9Gb, which is the size it really is on Exchange.
I'm very worried to uninstall Exchange with potential migration problems... with Outlook 2010 (what they use) can I just recreate another profile manually for the 365 account just in case I'm missing critical information, without uninstalling Exchange ? DNS entries will be changed for the MX record so that emails will start getting into the 365 mailboxes, but I don't want to kill Exchange just in case.
And I've tried to export all mailboxes to PST on the server, for a backup, but can't get my hands on a 2007 Exchange install CD to install the management tools on a client's computer to do the Exmerge or mailbox export...
