SBS-2008 to windows serve 2019 and redirect folder permissions

 in section 12 Migrate files, folders and shares,  step 8 robocopy can not get access to files that have been granted exclusive rights.

What would be the best way to take ownership then give it back to the user?

  Hello Andrew,

  Pls, read How the administrator can gain access to redirected folders owned by domain users and which are created by a policy using ‘grant the user exclusive rights’.

  Thank you...I still had an issue with error 5 from robocopy, so I ended up just restoring the files from a backup to the new location. 
  Its always good to have a backup :-)
