SBS2011 to Server 2016

Hi,

Following the SBS2011 to Server 2016 Standard migration guide I do not see the correct moment to uninstall Exchange 2010 from the SBS2011.  Beginning of guide mentions there will be an indication of correct moment but do not see it?

Thanks,

Fernando Larrey

Thank Mariette.  I know I had seen it but somehow drove by last time.

Question now is if I missed the warning at beginning of Chapter 16 on my last migration and did Exchange uninstall later, what is best way to proceed?  SBS is now gone but I have to believe AD has the baggage from not performing step at correct time.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Fernando,

    To where is Exchange migrated?

I did a cutover to O365 a week back......left Exch2010 hanging around until migration but missed the uninstall timing.

Is O365 in any way integrated at the moment? Either through the Essentials Dashboard or Azure AD Sync?

Yes.  I have AAD Sync running on server I migrated to.
