SBS2011 to Server 2019 Migration - Export-DHCPServer Error: Failed to get version of the DHCP server.

Hi,

Performing SBS2011 to Server 2019 Migration. Under Section 11, "Migrate DHCP scope and settings from SBS 2011 to Windows Server 2019", Step #2, "Type Export-DhcpServer -File C:\dhcpexport.xml -ComputerName sbs2011.numinous.local", receiving the following error:

Get-DhcpServerv4Scope : Failed to get version of the DHCP server srg-sbs11.numinous.local. Image of error attached.

Note: actual name of SBS2011 server = SRG-SBS11.

Additional Info:

1. Running Get-DhcpServerInDC shows both Old SBS2011 and New DHCP server

2. I restarted DHCP Server Service on both computers with same result.

    Now I feel like a complete idiot after typing "numinous" multiple times. Good I stopped migration when I did. Thanks so much for taking the time Mariett. Issue resolved.

    Haha, don't be so hard on yourself. I sometimes sit and stare at my screen and think...why did I not get that 10 minutes ago.
