My 2012r2 server used to be linked to Office365 but is no longer since that feature was deprecated. However, it continues to attempt syncing a single user account every 30 minutes and throws a critical error when it fails to do so.
"The Windows Server Essentials Service cannot synchronize the user password to the online identity repository. "
I have searched extensively for answers but all posts on this topic date to before the feature was deprecated and address how to make it work, not how to make it stop. Thanks in advance!
Hello Charles,
Can you show me the document that says that password sync has been deprecated? I don't see that anywhere or did you turn off O365 integration from within the Essentials Dashboard?
Sorry I can't find an official document I just see multiple forum references to this when searching for answers. I did not turn off office365 integration, it just sort of went away a few updates ago. It's status on the Dashboard is now "N/A"
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?
