Hello,
I have SQL server 2012 standard running on my server 2008 R2 , all other users there is no problems with exceed of data, but one user is France having issue with data base exceeded. In that machine i have installed SQL essential which provide at the data limit of up to 10 GB. Once in a month i have to clean some of his old logs and files . So i m thinking for permanent solution for this user. Will it fine to install SQL server 2012 standard version in this user / machine?

Hello Palden,
I am not sure I understand what you try to do. If you want to manage that SQL Server 2012 instance on the 2008 R2 server from a workstation I would use Download SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) | Microsoft Docs.
The computers in the same networks are ok to access data from SQL , but few computers are out of office area, these computers are in different network. i have installed SQL essential which provide at the data limit of up to 10 GB.
So i m thinking for permanent solution for this user. Will it fine to install SQL server 2012 standard version in this user / machine?
can i simply upgrade the SQL express version to paid version SQL
