Hi!
I am following your guide "Seamless Migration: Upgrading from Windows Server 2016 to a Virtualized Windows Server 2022 Domain Controller and File Server".
Have the Hyper-V host setup without problems as well as setting up the Virtual Switch according to instructions.
When installing the first Windows 2022 VM however the networking on the VM doesn't work.
In network connections it is reported as "Unidentified network". Using DHCP or setting a static IP makes no difference. (When using DHCP the VM gets a 169-adress.
It is possible to ping the VM's local address, but not the Hyper-V host or the GW.
"Ethernet Status" says "No network access".
Any ideas on how to solve this?
It is possible that the Virtual Switch is not bound to the correct network adapter. Remove the switch from all the VM's, delete the Virtual Switch. Make sure you disable all network adapters that are not connected and recreate the Virtual Switch and assign the correct Network Adapter.
