Windows Server 2016 Essentials Dasboard can't integrate with Office 365

Hi there.

Can someone help me please? I have multiple fresh built Windows 2016 Essentials server that cannot integrate with 365 via the Dashboard wizard. See two screen shots attached.

Existing 2016 essentials production servers that were integrated with 365 before this issue started. Continue to work normally.

There was a recent issue with Anywhere access not working for all Windows 2016 Essentials server. The fix outlined in the link below does not fix the 365 integration issue.

Please can you help me?

Kind regards.

Sorry to report it didn't work.

Do you have any other suggestions?

No, call Microsoft. This is probably some bug

    Morning Mariette.

    Thank you for your time.

I currently have two cases open with Microsoft on this issue. Despite setting up the paid support cases perfectly. Both cases went through to the wrong department and staff couldn't help me. Or transfer me to the correct department.

    Kind regards.

    Jesse

    Jesse,

I have the the identical problem for about 1 year now.  Please disable MFA in 2 Places.  Turn it off under the Global Admin Account where is is on by default, and under the user account settings.

There is 2 MFA settings on the system now, one setting automatically required this of admins and one you can set yourself.   The account would have on the setting to require for an admin.

To disable security defaults in your directory:

Sign in to the Azure portal as a security administrator, Conditional Access administrator, or global administrator.   https://portal.azure.com/

Browse to Azure Active Directory > Properties.

Select Manage security defaults. (at Bottom pf the page on right)

Set the Enable security defaults toggle to No.

    Select Save.

Give this a bit of time to propagate thought.

    Morning Ronald!

    Thank you for your suggestion.

But it didn't work. Security defaults was already off.

I manger approx. 250 Office 365 tenants. It wont work with any of them.

Issues started on all my 2016 servers in March.

    Any other ideas?

    Kind regards.

    Jesse
