Health Report Configuration

Newly installed Server Essentials 2016 is missing the Health Report tab in Dashboard Home screen.  My first attempt to customise Health Report settings resulted in the Dashboard closing and on sequent attempts there is no response when clicking on "Click to customize Health Report settings".

I don't really recall whether the Health Reports tab was present before the first attempt but if it wasn't, I would have presumed that was because Health Reports was not yet configured.

I assume that like 2012 R2, the Health Reports are installed by default in 2016.

Hello Barry, welcome to the site and thanks for registering an account. Something went wrong and I have seen this in the past on other systems but the fix is easy.

  1. From within the Dashboard click Settings (right top menu)
  2. Choose Safe mode
  3. Check if Health Reports and/or Health Monitoring is disabled
  4. Enable both and restart the Dashboard
