Hello - I'm currently at migration step 16 and have an issue with uninstalling Exchange. I'm using your other guide to uninstall that but have hit an error stating that the operation cannot be executed because the public folder database OURSERVER\Second Storage Group\Public Folder Database is not mounted. During Robocopy from old to new server, there were Access Denied errors that hung up the process. I included the switches /R:0 and /W:0 to skip the files causing errors. Now I'd like to run Robocopy and get a list of the files and folders that are causing the errors so I can determine whether they need to be moved or can be left behind. I've searched but have not found a way to get just this list of errors. Is there a way to do this? Thanks. --Art

Hi All, New to servers and the forum. I have my own domain thewillings.uk and I would like to use this as the main default web address on my newly installed WSE2016 server. This would also translate to Remote Web Access (RWA) to be https://rem.thewillings.uk/remote when I setup RWA. However, when i fire up the setup RWA wizard it tells me the TLD is not valid. While going through the process of migrating from Windows SBS 2008 to Server 2019 Standard, everything seems to be going really well except for the DHCP role removal from SBS 2008. So far hours. Is it supposed to take that long? And if so, will DHCP continue to work on the domain until it completes? That's fine if so, I just don't want to be without up until it does.
I have tried several times to get this to recover including the GP Logonas a service, but I cannot VPN back to functioning.

I gave one desktop, that was connected just fine, the 'opportunity' to upgrade to v2004 when the May update was offered. This seems to be another of those complete OS rebuilds that takes multi-gig downloads and hours to install. The Essentials Client connector had to be re-installed after it finally came back to life practically taking all night.

I would like to secure my WSE16 by removing TLS 1.0 & 1.1 as recommended by ssllabs. However, after I do so via SCHANNEL\Protocols registry keys, client backups fail with error ‘cannot contact server’. Are there additional steps I must take on WSE2016 as so not to break any core services? I would very much appreciate some direction.

I am ready to uninstall Exchange at this point, but realized I had not performed the FRS to DFSR migration as is detailed in the Migration Guide. I have an SBS2011 that I can't to run a Microsoft Best Practice Analyzer on. I have installed and uninstalled the Baseline Configuration Analyzer multiple times in the process as well., I have checked the remote script area in Group Policy and everything seems correct. Hi, I have moved the WSE 2016 from a physical computer to a virtual machine, and then upgraded the OS to be Server Standard maintaining the Essentials Experience. It was working, but now the Essentials management service will not start with an error 1067. There are faults in the event log related to .NET and sharedserviceshost, but that doesn't really tell me much. The backup service also crashes. Could this be a VM related setting? It has plenty of assigned memory and CPU I believe. Thanks for any help,
